Amidst the Monsoon rain

We walkout into Puddles

Wearing Baggy Jeans;

Cotton Hoodies we Wear

to keep off rain

Alas! Our Mothers curse at us

"My back aches scrubbing

soil off the 'buggy' Jeans.

Your 'burqa' stinks 

being soggy with water"

About the new trendz;

About the new India!

Walking in the streets with ipods

While the May Sun bakes the

tin houses on both sides of the street

We wear sweaters and Jackets too

Our Ol' men tell us to

dress lightly to keep Cool.

"You'll die of sunstroke

And DO NOT drink

those sweet colas.

They will dehydrate you."
